Service Description
Felicia Goosen is a Youth & Women’s Mental Wellness Consultant & Resilience Advisor dedicated to strengthening mental health support across South Africa and Africa. Her work equips organisations, schools, NGOs, and community programmes with healing-centred, culturally relevant wellness solutions. Through trauma-informed education, holistic wellness awareness, leadership development, and resilience-building, Felicia helps youth and women heal, grow, and lead with confidence. As the founder of the I Choose to Heal movement and CEO of Future Generation Wellness, she empowers communities to break cycles of trauma and create safe spaces for emotional wellbeing, hope, and transformation. Felicia provides: - Organisational and project-level mental wellness advisory. - Holistic wellness education and awareness programmes. - Trauma-informed youth development strategies. - Integrated wellness solutions for schools, NGOs, and youth programmes. - Capacity-building for staff, facilitators, and peer mentors. - Youth and women empowerment through healing-centred approaches.
Cancellation Policy
1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT 1.1 Deposit • A non-refundable deposit of R5 000 per person is required to secure your seat. • Bookings are confirmed only once proof of payment has been received. 1.2 Full Payment • Full payment is due no later than 1 March 2026. • Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in cancellation. 1.3 Payment Methods Participants may complete payment using any of the following: - EFT (Electronic Transfer) — banking details will be provided upon registration. - Online Payment Link — a secure online payment link will be sent to you for card payments or instant EFT. - No cash payments accepted. 1.4 Payment Plans & Early Bird Specials • Participants who pay their deposit during the Early Bird period (until 31 January 2026) qualify for the discounted Early Bird rate. • Full payment must be completed by 1 March 2026 to secure the Early Bird rate. • We recommend monthly payments after paying the deposit to spread the balance and make budgeting easier. • Participants are responsible for ensuring full payment is received by the deadline; failure to do so will result in the standard rate being applied or cancellation of the booking. 2. CANCELLATION POLICY 2.1 Participant Cancellations Due to advance arrangements with airlines and the resort: - Deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances. - Cancellations made before 1 February 2026: 50% of total retreat cost is refundable (excluding deposit). - Cancellations made after 1 February 2026: No refund will be issued. - You may transfer your ticket to another woman if you can no longer attend (name changes must be submitted at least 30 days before the retreat). 2.2 Organizer Cancellations • If the retreat is cancelled by the organizers due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund, including deposit. • If the retreat is postponed, participants will be offered the option to move their booking to the new dates or receive a refund. 3. FLIGHTS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS 3.1 Flights • Return flights from Johannesburg ↔ Maputo are included. • Once issued, airline tickets cannot be refunded or changed unless permitted by the airline’s policy. 3.2 Travel Documents • South African passport holders do not require a visa for Mozambique. • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return and have two blank pages available. • If you hold another nationality/passport, please check your passport requirements for entry into Mozambique.
